Lucrarea cuprinde rezumatele a 40 de cazuri, ultimele raportate ca fiind relevante de către CURTEA DE APEL CLUJ secția I civilă pentru trimestrul II anul 2015 (09/2016). Modelul de rezumat de caz, este de timpul celui utilizat și în Statele Unite ale Americii. În introducere, amintesc câteva considerente pentru care în România anului 2016 este obligatoriu precedentul judiciar și de ce aceasta este punctul de pornire al unui proces echitabil. Exemplific modul în care poate fi citat un caz și fac sugestii pentru o indexarea a precedentului, plecând de la termenii comuni utilizați în ECRIS.
