This is a collection of sweet and fun stories. There is heat paired with the sweet in several offerings. Tess's Tasty Treats: In Kameron Claire's short about Tess the bartender/dog treat designer and Logan, the soon to be former soldier, we get the sweetest he falls first look at her future full length novel. I love how Logan knows what he wants and how he is not deterred by Tess's hesitancy. I cannot wait for the full story. I preordered this collection as soon as it went up on preorder and I was lucky enough to get an advance copy. Hopefully we will get stories for Janey and Karden and a few others as well. I love the K9 training center as a backdrop for this small town style book. I am impatient to see what kind of ride Logan takes us on as he woos Tess and secures his future with the K9 center. I am sure Tess is going to make him work hard for his HEA and her love. Reggie is so sweet in Serena's story and Ford is perfect as her hero. He is determined but so cute in being hesitant to approach her, but when it counts he is all.in and goes strong for what he wants.

Delightful collection for romance and pet lovers! This is a wonderful collection of short holiday romances, each with one or more adorable pups who bring the humans together. Most are standalone romances, but there is one that is just a teaser for the full book and ends without an ending, one just follows the romance for two dogs - there's an attraction between their owners that is never explored, and another is an extended epilogue for an established couple. Of the standalones, my favorite was Doggy Style by Tracey Pedersen, which was very flirty with fun banter and well developed characters. I also enjoyed Hot Under the Collar by Serena Bell for the FMC's angsty self-doubt that is very sweetly erased by a hot firefighter. Tawdra Kandle's Make Me Beg was a heartwarming second-chance royal romance that was a terrific story, though the linked epilogue is necessary to get to their HFN. This anthology hits all the bases - swoony romances, huggable pets, and enough holiday spirit for everyone. If you're looking for a sweet collection of bite-sized romances, you don't want to miss this one. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
