What happens when grandma blackmails her grandson into marrying the granddaughter of her best friend? They end up faked engaged to their complete opposite. But that quickly changes as Sunny breaks down Cole’s barriers, and I will say I loved watching them fall in love and their chemistry was great. This rom com is fun and moves quickly and a little spicy, you’ll be happy to read it. This is my Theodora Taylor and won’t be my last one.

Patty 1,163 reviews 7 followers May 2, 2024 I absolutely loved this book. It was the perfect blend of comedy and spice. Oh so much spice. This book had a great cast of characters especially Grandma Benton. That woman had me in stitches. This book has it all. It has forced marriage, blackmail, spicy heat, bullying, comedy and love. It was a slow burn, with a whole lot of laughs. A highly entertaining read that I just could not put down. I will definitely read more by this author.

I always look forward to a new offering from TT. The story sets a brisk pace, that made an ideal lazy day read. Settling in for the afternoon I read it in one sitting. Sunny was an engaging character who finds herself in an unexpected predicament. Cole is an acquired taste, his need for control was overbearing. Despite this TT managed to create a story that entertained overall. I enjoyed Sunny and the supporting characters very much.
