Enjoyed the story. Would have liked the villain brought to justice, but it won't stop me from reading other books in this series, or others by Diane Fraser.

The overall story arc is good. The way it's put together is formulaic and uncomfortable. The characters are interesting though. I cared about them enough to finish the book.

i just knew from the afterword that this a 3rd book from the series. now im wanting to start from the first till i get to finish the series.. this is good reading material. like the whole series!!!

About the author

Diana lives with her family in a small seaside community north of Wellington, New Zealand, with two cocker spaniels who bark at everything and a tortoise-shell cat who teases them mercilessly.

She works full time as a writer of contemporary and medieval romantic fiction and is currently writing a medieval novella, a sheikh romance and two more books in the Italian Lovers series. All at the same time! More books in all series are planned for 2015-16.
