My Years of Service to My Lord and Country is about the memories of one mans youth and adulthood. The fi rst section describes the many people and programs that affected his life and inspired him to serve his community. Paul also shares some of the experiences he had while helping the disadvantaged. The second section tells of his three years of service in the infantry in North Africa and Italy during World War II and how the destruction of war affected him.
About the author
Paul Stong, Currently retired, has a bachelor's degree in Social Studies and Physical Education from Adams State College. He was married for 65 years to his wife Billie who recently passed away. He has 10 grown children, 12 grand children and 7 great-grand children. He has written several books but this is the first he has had published.
