This awesome collection is a treasure trove of reading pleasure that you just do not want to miss out on. In it are five, full-length first in series books and each and every one is yummy! Whether this author is a favorite or brand new to you, this wonderful box set offers an excellent selection to help you get your read on. The books included are: THE DIRECTOR (Chicago Bratva, Book 1) This was a great way to kick-off this new series. Lucy and Ravil's relationship is complicated, to say the very least. I really liked Ravil. Sure, he was very dominating, had an edge and was not really by any stretch of the imagination a "good guy". That being said he was caring, honorable, and could in fact be very sweet. He also and some vulnerabilities that added an appealing bit of softness to him. As for Lucy, I have to be honest and say that I spent almost all the book either trying to like her or not liking her very much. I feel this was mainly due to my own pet peeves. I was not a fan of many of her actions and in fact I felt she came across as quite the hypocrite in way too many ways to make me happy. Even with my not being a huge fan of her character, I did in fact love the book. It was steamy, emotional, taut with tension, kinky and dramatic. Plus, it introduced a slew of very intriguing secondary characters that have me super excited to read many more books from this series. ALPHA’S TEMPTATION (Bad Boy Alphas, Book 1) An absolutely wonderful read! I loved this book and am now very eager to read future books in this series. Kylie and Jackson were such a great couple. They generate off the charts heat and their attraction just sizzles. This book is full of their steamy, kinky, passion filled encounters, but also beautiful, tender and emotional scenes also. A well written book; that offers an engaging storyline and characters that quickly charm their way into your heart. If you are a fan of shifter books do not miss out on this one. KING OF DIAMONDS (Vegas Underground, Book 1) Blazing hot and super steamy!! A fun storyline with lots of drama. This romance was entertaining and it quickly had me firmly in its grip. As this is a dark romance there is content that will not appeal to every reader and some things may be triggers for some. If this is the case for you, you might want to skip this book. The interactions between Sondra and Nico are intense, edgy, raw, passionate and sizzling. ROUGH (Wolf Ranch, Book 1) I absolutely loved this book and I felt it was the perfect start to this new series. Audrey and Boyd were very likable characters that had great chemistry. I found myself quickly invested in this couple and firmly rooting for them as the story unfolds. The story itself offers a captivating blend of emotions, drama, kink, humor, heat, sweetness, cuteness, and a bit of action and excitement. HIS HUMAN SLAVE (Zandian Masters, Book 1) I thought this was a very good read. This is a well written book that offers an interesting erotic science fiction romance plot. This is Prince Zander and Lamira story. these two are brought together when it's discovered she is a good genetic match for breeding. This book features BDSM and spankings. Zander is in full alpha hole mode. To start he comes across as very cold and uncaring in his expectations and his actions toward Lamira. While I did feel this fit well with his standing as a prince and the beliefs his people held about humans, there were some instances that came across as truly cruel and just plain mean. In the end though his alpha dominance turned out to be well matched to the unknown submissiveness in her. It was a very hot, sexy and steam filled read.
