In many ways, Tariq Karim is an average teenager. Fourteen can a confusing age for a boy on the verge of becoming a man, as changes morph his body and mind into something even he doesnt recognize. Kenny Ferguson grew up in the Hell’s Kitchen and Chelsea area of New York City, a city he served as a sergeant in the New York City Police Department. He is an air force veteran who now works as director of security for a large company. He has two children and four grandchildren. He and his wife, Marie, live in Metuchen, New Jersey.
