My Review: Wow, wow, wow!!!!! I couldn’t put this one down. I already loved this author for many years but after reading this book I love her more if that’s even possible. This was by far the best book I have read by her yet. I do want to warn you that this book tackled some hard subjects but that this author handled them with such grace and dignity. I don’t know where to start with this one. This book starts off with a mother leaving her child and starting a new life without her. Despicable, right? We come to find out this mother had her reasons for leaving and now wants back into her daughters life. Now this is when the problems really began and where the story takes off. Let’s talk about the characters. Some of the characters that you find despicable in the very beginning you’re going to love them in the end and some that are likable from the jump start you’re going to hate them in the end. I loved that about this book. This book also kept me guessing the whole way through. I knew something big was going to be revealed the whole book but wow was it huge. It really made the book come full circle and made me love the ending. Endings for me is what makes a book great and this ending was speechless. In fact, the whole book was a roller coaster ride full of emotions. I can’t wait for this author to write her next book. Hopefully I won’t be waiting too long. In conclusion, the plot, the characters and all the twists in this book made this book an enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend it and happily give it 5 Hearts❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

“She thinks no one knows she lied…She is wrong…” Each book I have read from Kathryn Croft out does the last and The Mother’s Secret is no exception. What a read! I devoured this in one sitting as I could not put it down! When I read the blurb for this book, my first thought was, I could never imagine leaving my child if I was a mother and without even thinking of reasons why I would, straight away my hackles went up and my first instinct was to judge Eve’s character. But there is so much more to this story. The narrative moves seamlessly from past to present as we learn of Eve’s and Aidan’s struggle to conceive. Croft paints a very real picture of this and with each miscarriage, the heartbreak. What Eve is hiding and why she left everything, only then to return, causes intrigue. Full of twists and turns, lies and deceit, the pages just turn themselves. Perfectly plotted and executed with strong characters at the helm, and a satisfying ending, makes The Mother’s Secret such a thrilling and gripping read.

This was a really good book... Don't know that it was that much of thriller vibes more family drama... Was a really really good storyline though and grabs your attention from the very start... It was told from Eve the main characters point of view... I really liked her and felt for her alot through the book... You could picture all the characters clearly... Its defo a 5 star read 📚 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🤗👍
