Newton really understand's prophecy! He really seeks to understand the literal meaning of the text but also tries to get to the heart of the issue. Though not a verse by verse commentator, he writes as though he is speaking at a Church Gathering. There is no malice against anyone, just a love for the Lord and truth. I do not agree with every point, but he really makes me rethink things!
