이 책은 Ultra96v2보드에 PetaLinux를 설치하는 내용들을 다루고 있다. Vivado에서 Zynq MP IP만 사용하는 base 프로젝트를 위한 PetaLinux 기본 bsp가 제공된다. 또한 Ultra96v2에 최적화된 downloads 와 sstate cache를 제공함으로써 PetaLinux build 시간을 최소화 할 수 있도록 하였다.
또한 이책은 autostart, vadd, sensor, pcam5c등의 예제 프로젝트들을 통해 PL에 logic들을 추가하였을 때 PetaLinux 기본 BSP위에 어떠한 추가적인 작업들이 요구되는지를 보여주고 있다. Device Tree Overlay와 연동되는 FPGA Manager을 사용하여 PL을 PetaLinux 부팅 이후에 PL bitstream이 downloading 되도록하는 최신기술을 사용하여 PL 하드웨어를 유연하게 구성할 수 있도록 하였다.
