Haley and Jackson don't like each other as she won't give him what he wants the land for his development and they are both a stubborn as each other which makes them a perfect match. These two were so much fun to watch as they went from loathing one another to then sparks flying that they wanted to fight and then finally coming together and seeing that the were perfect for each other and deserve a HEA. I love everything TCC. When I started reading this, I didn’t realize it was book two in the ‘Fathers and Sons’ series. Having said that, it stands very well on its own, and you don’t have to have read the previous one for this book to make sense. Hayley and Jackson are like fire and gasoline together. They’re not opposites, they’re explosive. They’re both strong-willed and independent, and they both regularly stomp all over each other’s hot buttons without meaning to. But they also push each other to be better people, and I think that’s where the real magic in their relationship comes from. I loved these two as a couple and now I need to know more about the mysterious baby and the secrets he brings with him. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
