Ratings and reviews

Pros: I really like Rachel Schurig's book and have read all of the Ransom series bookstore. In some ways one of the reasons why I liked this book was to revisit those characters. Cons: This book reads like one of the original series books. Is this Will's story or Cash's, Reed's etc...? The plots were basically the same. I would say that the original series characters have a slight edge because they were new. But now Schurig is recycling plots for a buck and it's a shame.

I reread the random books during my pregnancy so was extremely excited when I found out there would be the next generations stories. I've not been able to stop reading this book. You're thrown straight back into it and it's great having the ransome brothers and their wives as familiar characters with their children who you instantly love just as much. I love that characters from the Rachel's other book series make little appearances in the book so it really gives something back to those that have read her books for a while.

I was so excited that the kids get their own stories!! Will’s story was so good. I love the story line between Will and Eva. I got me so drawn in right at the beginning and loved to see how both of them worked out their issues and also loved hearing about the whole family. So good!!
