This was the 1st book I read by this author many years ago. This was the book that got me hooked on Jeffrey Archer. His magnificent storytelling has had me in its grip ever since.

This is one of the best Archer books ever if you like saga books, books that span several generations like Kane and Abel

An interesting read. Very similar to Clifton Chronicles.

Jeffrey Archer was educated at Oxford University. He has served five years in Britain's House of Commons and fourteen years in the House of Lords. All of his novels and short story collections--including And Thereby Hangs a Tale, Kane and Abel, Paths of Glory and False Impression--have been international bestselling books.
