Ohhh, this one flowed very well with all of the action, suspense, heat and intrigue. I really love this standalone because it has been a HOT minute from Aleatha. Grayson and Cecilia are just perfect for each other. So many twists and to get to the ending was worth the wait. I received this book at my request and have voluntarily left this unbiased review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

This was one suspenseful, steamy, and gut-wrenching read. The characters are complex and I love that Cecilia is strong but vulnerable and as dangerous as Greyson was, he was there to remind her who she was when she felt at her lowest. This was amazing!

Omg I am positively in love! This book was amazing. Dark, sexy and with a wonderfully epic cast of characters. Grayson is trying to build an empire for himself in the underground world of the Mafia. Cecilia is the key to his kingdom. Cecilia is kidnapped by Grayson with the intent of being delivered to her family's enemy. This was everything I wanted in a standalone novel. So much going on that will leave you wanting more. I started this last night and let's just say that was a bad decision. I couldn't put it down.

About the author

Aleatha Romig is a New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today bestselling author who lives in Indiana. She grew up in Mishawaka, graduated from Indiana University, and is currently living south of Indianapolis. Aleatha has raised three children with her high school sweetheart and husband of nearly thirty years. Before she became a full-time author, she worked days as a dental hygienist and spent her nights writing. Now, when she's not imagining mind-blowing twists and turns, she likes to spend her time a with her family and friends. Her other pastimes include reading and creating heroes/anti-heroes who haunt your dreams!
