This book was so short there was no time to expand on what was happening. In fact it was a short story. I would assume it had been chopped drastically because there seemed to be gaps. The Viscount's feelings were sudden and unmentioned until it shot out of the gate like the favourite at Newmarket. It seemed decidedly odd to me. It was a pretty story that didn't have the chance, in under a hundred pages, to get going properly, and that's even with large print. I was disappointed for the writer as well as myself. You could tell without looking that the writer was a women because the woman's feelings were the one's that were explained a bit more. The Viscount was an addition without having any importance. Moments of enjoyment were blighted by the lack of depth to the story. Sorry to put a blight on it but it was how I viewed this book

I really enjoyed The Viscount's Christmas Temptation. I thought that Amelia and Benedict were fantastic together, I had a blast watching Benedict teach Amelia how to enjoy life. I wish that the author had made this short story into a full novel because it had so much potential to be absolutely one of the best novels. It was still great but I was greedy and the story was so good that I wanted more. :) However I am content with the fabulousness that Erica has written. I think its a story that can be enjoyed in the holiday season or during the rest of the year. Amelia and Benedict are wonderful together.

The Viscount's Tempting Minx - Erica Ridley I really enjoyed this short, Regency Romance. It helps that I'm a big fan of Erica Ridley anyway. Lady Amelia runs her household like clockwork. She knows what her staff need and require before even they do. But she comes to realise that, at almost thirty, she needs a husband and looks to Debrett's Peerage for guidance. And the best place to look at these Dukes and Earl's, is at a ball. The Sheffield's 75th annual ball, to be precise. Lord Sheffield has cancelled the annual ball that his family has thrown for decades, because the venue of this well established event has burned down. Lady Amelia, in her no nonsense, this ball will go ahead as planned, way, decides that she is the one to get it back on track. Little did either of them know, that love and a perfect match wasn't going to be found in a tatty old book.
