This book is well-written with defined main characters. That being said, our hero is Bully Bait and has been for most of his misery-filled life, until he is not. The book starts out with an unspeakable tragedy, morphs into something different, adds some humor, and becomes somewhat of a romance. While this storyline is hard to define just know that it is worth reading. I voluntarily read an ARC and this is my honest review.

Well I wasn't expecting that at all. This author never fails to disappoint and this was such a twist on the usual stories. Loved Huf and his development, kinda reminded me of Captain America. Couldn't put this down and was so intrigued all through. Absolutely gutted its a cliffhanger but so excited there'll be more to read. The narrator on this is absolutely superb!

Loved reading the engaging the engrossing paranormal story. When Hudson's best friend, River, is attacked, Hudson comes to her rescue, gets beaten up, almost dies, and wakes up the next morning a physically different person with muscles, strength, good looks, etc., and doesn't know what happened. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and full of twists and turns, action, mystery, and romance.
