Shalom Paul is Professor of Bible Emeritus at Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He is also the author of Amos (Hermeneia); Divrei Shalom: Collected Studies of Shalom M. Paul on the Bible and the Ancient Near East, 1967-2005; and The Almanac of the Bible. He is co-editor of The Illustrated Dictionary and Concordance of the Bible.
