This was one of the worst books that I have ever read. This book is mainly telling you how good HTML5 and CSS3 are. Notice if you get a sample you will only get get a very short sample as there is no substance to this book. When I finally did get to one of the examples I was not able to copy and paste it. Stay away from this book if you are trying to learn HTML5 , CSS3 or responsive web design you will regret it. Side note: I never leave comments/reviews but this book is horrible!

Okay, so I haven't finished reading this book but after listening to some podcasts and getting my interest back into Web Standards, latest technology, etc I ran into this. Actually, I had to sort through all the older junk to find this, which is one of the latest of it's subject. I was weary about purchasing it, with no reviews and all, so I read the sample, and the sample alone bought me. Everything is very practical so far, I went ahead and gave it a five-star rating because I really like what I've read. If I realize though, that this is one of those downhill books that get worse as you go, I will come back and rate it more accurately, and well, if I finish it and it's a five-star book all the way through, I will let everyone know and it will keep it's five stars. I suggest reading the sample, if you like what you get out of that, purchase the book. I can't believe this is the first review.
