This book has provided me with a way of training that I never thought of. The training is incredible, possible and achievable even while working a full-time job. After falling into the "moderate-intensity rut", as the book calls it, the fatigue that followed was far more damaging to my training than anything else. After implementing the 80/20 training method and doing 80% of my workouts at low intensity and the other 20% at moderate or high intensity my training became more plausible. I have worked my way through the Sprint and Olympic distances and am currently training for my first Half-Ironman distance!!!

David Warden is an internationally recognized endurance coach and author. Owner of a successful independent triathlon coaching business, David is also a co-head coach of Team IronCowboy. His current and former clients include a duathlon age-group world champion, a Guinness world record holding triathlete, and multiple full and Ironman 70.3 World Championship qualifiers.
