About this ebook

He's lost his voice. She's here to teach him to speak to the world again.

Faith

I love helping people communicate that can't. It’s why I became an ASL teacher.

Getting to work with military men and women who were injured in action? Sign me up. I can’t think of a better way to help.

I pride myself on keeping things professional…until him.

The letters he writes allow me to get to know him on such deep level.

He has me believing in love even if I try not to cross that line.

Logan

I remember the plane going down, then nothing. I woke up months later in the hospital, a few nasty scars… and no voice.

Basic communication has become a nightmare and I’ve never felt so alone even with all the people around.

Then Faith shows up teaching me how to communicate with sign language and with modern advances on my phone and tablet.

Our daily walks turn into nightly text messages, and I begin to think Faith might be able to heal my heart too.

Until the one day that my whole world is turned upside down…

The sixth book in the Oakside Military Heroes series. Logan lost his voice in a plane accident while in the military he goes to Oakside where he meets Faith his ASL teacher. They will have their ups and downs as he learns to be independent again. I enjoyed reading their story and seeing them get their happy ending. I will be watching for the next book. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great series: This was another tender and touching, injured veteran story. The best part was being back at Oakside and seeing how everything is expanding and coming along so nicely there. This time the hero Logan was mute and it was interesting seeing him readjust to his new normal with the help of his therapist Faith. Whilst I appreciate poetic license, I was frustrated by how unrealistic it was at times, especially when it came to learning sign language. It also felt a bit unrefined and not as polished as the previous books in the series. However it was still an enjoyable quick read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
