About the author

Born in Hong Kong and graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Wong Leung Wo took a role as a part-time instructor of a poetry workshop at the Hong Kong Arts Centre in 1995 that led to the founding, together with his students, of Women shikan 我們詩刊 [We poetry journal]. He was a co-editor of Huxi Poetry 呼吸詩刊 (1996-1997). Wong's essays, short stories and poetry have won him multiple awards. He is an associate professor at the Hong Kong Institute of Education.
