When I say I enjoyed this one I really mean I enjoyed this one. It was hard for me to put this one down it was that good. You really feel the connection between Dante and Chrissie. I believe right there is what made this book so very good. Things get very steamy between the up and coming country star and SEAL. Dante is perfect hero material. He has the mind set of a dedicated SEAL along with a big heart. When Chrissie needs someone in her corner she has to look no further than Dante. One scene that stands out to me is the one describing Dante in a pair of jeans and a cowboy hat. That is definitely one of my favorite scenes in the book. I'm a big fan of the heroine Chrissie as well. She's an all american girl next door type with a big sense of family. She's not looking for any relationships just concentrating on getting her singing career off, but that was before she met Dante. He throws her for a loop because who can say no to that hunky SEAL. Dante is thrust into a security gig while he waits to be cleared for activity duty. He never realized how that one moment will forever change his life for the better. This book has passion with a good amount of heart.

I nominate this book for BEST FIRST KISS award—and I'm not telling you'll have to read, but trust me you will love it too. This is one of those books you wish there were more than 5 stars you could award. Any SEAL book lover knows the conflict of having to leave on a moment's notice, and the continued and extended separations. Any guy would be lucky to find a woman who understood from the get go and even applauds him for his patriotic loyalty. (she's lost a SEAL brother and Dante knew him) Country heartthrob Chrissie supports her family with her music and is dedicated to everyone but herself. When she needs a bodyguard, sidelined Dante fills in while he gets back to full speed to rejoin his team. He doesn't do flings anymore, and isn't ready for a real relationship after his wife “dear johned” him while he was deployed. But they both know the score so why not? I mean they can't keep their eyes, thoughts and lust off each other. They know their time together has an expiration date. But two people who spend time together, become friends and lovers, depend on each other—can they really just walk away? I loved the couple, the conflict was very different than every SEAL book. I began as a Sara fan and remain one, anxious for the next book. Whatever it is I will read. I was provided and ARC for an honest review.

Sara Jane Stone writes kick-*** characters. Female characters with grit take on their own demons with a little bit of help from the alpha male. Ms. Stone believes in equal opportunity heroes and I love that. I received a copy of To Seduce a Seal in exchange for an honest review. Chrissie is a live wire. She follows her dreams, speaks her mind and looks out for herself. Dante is brooding, sexy and in need of control. Two immovable forces are just the equation for a sensual overload.
