An enjoyable read. A new origins for the Justice League, part of DC's "New 52" release around 2010/2011. A reboot to the most of their characters providing a jumping on point for new readers. This eBook collects the first 3 original TPB's in one handy volume. I think time has been kind to these stories; I don't remember enjoying them as much at the time, I certainly haven't picked these books up prior to this since the original release, but this time around I found the modern settings and lighter stories much more enjoyable. As the "New 52" was intended for new readers, reading this requires little to no prior knowledge of the characters, or events in comics. Read this on my tablet (and on my phone when travelling) and all the text/images are perfectly clear. Highly recommended for fans old and new.

I love the JL & I especially loved the NEW 52 version of the JL. It's a team that's only 5 yrs into each of their individual careers. They eventually formed the JL due to the invasion by DARKSEID & as time went by, they welcomed in potential heroes who would go on the become full-time mbrs of the JL.
