This is the 2nd book in the Kingsland Ranch series featuring the next Kingsley brother rancher Levi's story. Levi is the oldest brother and he's dealing with the aftermath of his father's death& the mess he left them in with some of the shady deals that he made all while trying to unite his brothers. The problem is that they need a PR rep help them fix the damage to the family name& business but the only person who can help them is Kendra& she doesn't want anything to do with Levi. Years ago Kendra& Levi had a one-night stand that ended with her believing that he betrayed her in a horrible way. Now years later she's the best PR person around so Levi really needs to get her to help him. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this engaging second chance romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book&I'm looking forward to the next book in this wonderful series. I really liked Levi in this book. I couldn’t help but feel my heart break for him just a little over how he’d been raised and what he’d been taught. After learning that, I wasn’t surprised by his fumble during the critical moment. Now, I’m a sucker for a second chance, but I wasn’t quite as charmed by his heroine. I completely understand that Kendra’s got some serious parental baggage she needed to unpack, but the cause of their rift seemed like such a simple misunderstanding that should never h

This is the second book in the Kingsland Ranch series and while it is connected to the first book it can be read as a standalone. Levi is the oldest Kingsley and is currently trying to unite his brothers and clean up the mess his father has left in the wake of his death. They need a PR rep to help repair the damage to the Kingsley family name and businesses. Kendra is the best at what she does but she has a history with Levi, one that ended badly. Steamy and entertaining, can't wait for book three. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
