A best friends to lovers romance must read! This is my favorite genre and this newest release had all the ingredients that made for a heartfelt, cute story. London has always loved her best friend firefighter Luca and when she finally tells herself to move on, it finally hits him. What happens next was a cute romance story with great characters and a heartwarming storyline with a romantic HEA. I loved how their journey blossomed to a deserving forever.

Best friends to the extreme. A relationship that was off limits for several reasons. Love did not care. London and Luca had been friends for quite a while, but she realized that there could be more. Luca fought his feelings, advice from others, including strangers, and almost lost everything. Now he had to work hard to prove to Jemma that he was all in despite the garbage he spewed before. I loved how hard he tried to make her see. There were moments of tears as their feelings became real.

Rule Bender by BJ Harvey is a good, and enjoyable age gap friend to lover romantic comedy read. The story has a good story line. The characters are good, and they have good chemistry. London and Luca's story is fun and easy read. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
