Sweetly sexy, emotionally gripping second chance romance with an action packed kick. This was a short but highly entertaining afternoon read. Macy Berk is a sweet, sexy, sassy and fearlessly loyal friend determined to make sure her friend's valentines wedding goes off with out a hitch. Eli Spencer is a sexy SEAL and brother of the bride. He believes they are making a huge mistake with this wedding since he believes SEALs have no business getting married. Can Macy (the one he let getaway all those years ago) convince him of how wrong his thinking has been this whole time.

i have come to enjoy this novella series about three childhood friends that made a vow to give up all relationships once they became Navy SEALS. They truly believed that a personal relationship had to be given up for their dedication as Navy SEALS. Fast forward and these kids are now strong Navy SEALS. The previous stories have given us Noah’s and Sam’s stories. This time, it’s Eli, who was the oldest and the one that implemented the vow. Macy loved him 5 years ago when he left her to become a SEAL. Now , a successful business woman, she is determined to get her revenge , but it back fires. It’s a fast paced, romance , but it’s also a story about commitments. Whether personal or professional. The characters and the plot are well developed. Something only a talented author can accomplish in a novella. I was happy to finally get Eli’s and Macy’s story. I was gifted this copy. The opinions expressed , are solely my own.

Macy was the best event planner around. She and her twin have a successful business planning people's HEA and more. When the special day is for a friend that's even better. Except. Except when the bride's brother is the man who dumped her to become a SEAL. Five years and it still hurt. But she had a plan. One that would keep him from being a downer to the happy couple and get her a little payback. It was a great plan. That is until she saw him. Seduction 101 would work. Her final grade would suffer if she clung to his leg as he tried to walk away again. Seeing him made that all too likely. The author is known for her great romances with SEALs her specialty. I wouldn't miss any and I enjoyed this one. Sexy, loyal SEALs, interesting family, and friends, with a commitment to their service that is unmatched. Eli just has to learn that one doesn't negate the other. Of course, once he admits it he has to win Macy and she's been hurt. By him. A short but wonderful read you won't forget.
