With a foreword by Ryo Horikawa, the Japanese voice of Vegeta, Dragon Ball Z Its Over 9,000. When Worldviews Collide is the first e-book to explain where Its Over 9,000! came from, how the original video spread to receive over 7 million views, and why it continues to be such a popular catchphrase.

I believe it was Brian Drummond's performance that gave the line its popular meme status. Aside from that, I felt like this book was going out of it's way to try to discredit the Americanization of the show when it was initially brought over here 1996. It totally misrepresents how everything was handled while at the same time doesn't question it's success.

In the forward the Japanese voice actor states that he doesn't know why the "its over 9000" line is so popular. Its because he didn't make it popular. It was Brian Drummond's awesome voice acting that gave Vegeta his distinct sound through the Saiyan saga & the beginning of the Namek saga.
