About the author
Dr. Puran Singh Khati holds a doctorate degree in chemistry. He has worked as a senior chemist in Rajdoot Paints Ltd from 1997 to 1998 in Delhi. He had also been worked with Wimpy International Ltd. Connaught place New Delhi from 1998 to 1999. He has over 21 years’ experience of teaching chemistry at different levels. He has done extensive research work in the areas of analysis of water, Kinetics and Adsorption at D.S.B. Campus Kumaun University Nainital, G.B. Pant Agricultural University Pantnagar, I.I.T. Roorkee W.T.L. Noida. He has published various research papers in different national and international journals.
He started his teaching career at Government Polytechnic College Nainital in 2000. After that he worked as a lecturer in chemistry at Bhartiya Shaheed Sainik School Nainital from 2002 to 2008. Later on, he worked as a lecturer in chemistry at D.S.B. Campus Kumaun University Nainital from 2008 to 2010. He has held positions of Head of the chemistry department, Govt. Post Graduate College, Doiwala (Dehradun) Uttarakhand from 2010 t0 2012. Presently he is Assistant Professor in the chemistry department Govt. PG college Rishikesh (Sridev Suman University Campus, Rishikesh) Dehradun Uttarakhand.
