This book is organized into nineth chapters. In chapter 1 contain the definition, characteristics and function of language, chapter 2 communication contain the definition of communication and the three systems of communication, chapter 3 linguistics, chapter 4 devision of linguistics, chapter 5 english phonology, chapter 6 english morphology, chapter 7 english syntax, chapter 8 english semantics, and chapter 9 discourse analysis.
About the author
Satriani, S.Hum., M.Pd. was born on August 20, 1994 in Calodo, Wajo Regency of South Sulawesi. She is the second children from H. Simmase and Hj. Kasma. She has one sister and one brother.
She entered at Elementary School 96 Simpursia and graduated in 2006. In the same year, she continued her study at Junior High School 1 Sengkang and graduated in 2009. Then she continued her study in Senior High School 3 Sengkang, Wajo regency and graduated in 2012.
After finishing her study at school, she enrolled at State Islamic University (UIN) Alauddin Makassar in 2012, she took English and Literature Department (BSI) of Adab and Humanities Faculty and graduated in 2016. Then, in 2017, she continued her study in English Education Department of Graduate Program of State University of Makassar (UNM) and graduated in 2019.
She was a lecturer in University of Puangrimmagalatung Sengkang since 2018 when she still continued her study, and she joined in Islamic Institute of As’Adiyah Sengkang as a lecturer since 2020, and on May, 2021 she became the head of English Education Department Program.
She not only writes this book but also some books, such as: Psycholinguistics, Semantics, and Discourse Analysis. Although, her business as Head of English Education Department Program, she has more than 20 online journals in English Education, Literature and Linguistics area.
Now, she continues her second magister program in Islamic Institute of As’Adiyah Sengkang with the Islamic Education program. Contact her in satrianiani200894@gmail.com.
