About this ebook

The #1 New York Times bestselling series continues with a thrilling revelation -- brand-new tribes of dragons!

Blue the SilkWing is content. Life in his Hive is safe; he loves his family; he has enough to eat. And Pantala has been at peace for as long as he can remember -- SilkWings and HiveWings live and work together in harmony, and because they stay vigilant, no one has seen a dangerous LeafWing in years. Now that Blue's sister, Luna, is undergoing her Metamorphosis, Blue knows things are going to change. Luna will have her wings and her silk, be assigned a partner and a work order, and move to another Hive. A few days later, Blue's own wings and silk will come in. But nothing could prepare Blue for what happens when Luna's wings start to grow. Suddenly his world is turned upside down, throwing him into dangers he never knew existed. Pantala isn't as peaceful as it seems, and Blue isn't safe. Whether he's ready or not, it's time to adapt -- and fight for his life.

I pre-ordered this so it arrived the day it was released. My 11 yr old daughter read it the next day and has been harassing me since about when Book 12 will be available. I read The Lost Continent today and it is fabulous, just like the rest of the series! It's hard to believe my daughter picked out the first book of the series at the school book fair when she was in kindergarten!! Time flies! Please keep these wonderful stories coming, we're so excited to see where the story goes next!

Wow! I was very impressed with this book! Spoiler: I loved how Luna tied in with the preexisting charcters at the end. The idea seemed cliche to me at first but you used it really well. I cannot wait to see what goes on with Blue`s metamorphisis. I am really looking forward to the next book, but take your time, im sure it will be great!

This book was really good. It suprised me actually. The main character in this book really steps away from a lot of the characters from the other books. I feel i can relate to this character on so many levels. And the side characters remind me of clay's friends as well. All they wanna do is help out a dragon in need of well... Help haha.
