Adamist Pentastic
One of the most underrated super heroes, Aquaman makes an amazing comeback in this phenomenal volume. If you're an Aquaman fan this is a great treat for you. The story flows well and deepens with flashbacks. The art work is great, although some pages lack a little bit of the flare others have, otherwise it's great. If you like comics get it; if you like DC, even more reason why you should get it; if you're an Aquaman fan then this is a: Must have and must read!

I like the directions the writing is taking--except for the pandering to the Aquaman haters--"least favorite hero?" Okay, we get it, no need to be heavy handed. Otherwise the character development is evenly balanced and differentiates this previous storylines, especially in the case of Aquawoman. I like the visual style, I get a hint of Byrne-influence but its subtle and overall its very, very high quality artwork and color work.

This is a fantastic book, if you're the biggest believer that Aquaman is a joke you definitely won't think that by the end of this volume. This will change your perspectives on a lot of things too. Holy carp, best read ever. Can't recommend enough, it's also a good introduction to comics :)
