About the author

Kathryn Wheeler has worked as a teacher, an educational consultant, and an editor in educational publishing. She has taught reading and library skills at the elementary level, as well as writing classes at the college level. Kate was awarded a Michigan Council for the Arts grant for fiction. She has a bachelor of arts degree in English from Hope College. Currently, Kate lives in Michigan with her husband, Don. She writes educational materials and works part-time for a civil rights law firm.
