I read a few chapters and got bored. Put it down and read something else. Finished that book and tried reading this one again. Managed maybe one or two chapters before I got bored again. Rinse, repeat. Gave up trying to finish it. Nothing about this story managed to catch (let alone keep) my interest. I'm only giving it two stars instead of one because I have run across more poorly written books. Save yourself the time and avoid this one.

This story has potential but doesn't quite hit the mark. If it was a continuing series that would later explain the a plot that was started but not picked back up it would be fine. But it doesn't continue for these 2 it continues for the beta. So why did he see her eyes take an inhuman look when they first made love? Seems a major point that was left to go nowhere.

Different than the normal paranormal romance books I normally read but a good book. Author has a funny and entertaining way to her story telling that made the book a quick and enjoyable read. The book definitely has the whole alpha male finding his mate and declaring her MINE that is common in PNR and shifter books but what it does lack is the sexual heat I have become acustom to in other writer's books. This does not take away from the story at all however. Found the book very entertaining and will be reading more from this author.
