To preface, my tastes are geared towards fantasy, mystery, and thrillers and young fiction. I found this a highly romanticised tale, with lots of religious imagery and stereotypes, the cruel husband of an ex, a gangster with a good heart and a long lost kid. If you're into Hallmark movies, then this book might be up your alley. Well it's not for me.

The words flow smoothly and though there aren't any crazy hair-pin turns in the story, it keeps you reading. In the end, you've read a generally uplifting story where the bad guys get what they deserve, and you, the reader, maybe something learned.

I read many books in a month and this one had me reading it straight throw. Wonderful storyline. Solid characters. Left me wanting to read more. But alas, cannot find anymore! Still a great read!
