If anyone else was writing and it wasn't the second installment of Evie Blackwell I would have gave 4 stars but high expectations on both accounts. The story line just fell flat for me but at times picked up like the usual Dee Henderson books. As the title implies "threads" well to many for my liking so the book did not hit that deep meaningful can't put it down type book I'm use to from this writer. I will still purchase the next book in this installment but wish this one had me up all night reading like Mrs. Henderson others but she's still my favorite Christian writer!
