About this ebook

Ever since her sister and brother-in-law died in an accident ten years ago, thirty-something-year-old Ayako Katsuragi has been raising her niece Miu as her own daughter. Now that she's in high school though, Ayako has begun to worry about the boys that might want to date Miu, especially their twenty-year-old neighbor Takumi Aterazawa. But when Takumi says he needs to talk to her, Ayako gets the shock of her life! It's not Miu he's got feelings for, it's her! Will Ayako be able to overcome her doubts and give his love a chance?

If this doesn't get an anime eventually I would be shocked. It's fairly normal stuff for the genre and hits all the notes you'd expect, but there's nothing wrong with that if the characters are likeable. They are likeable enough and the character designs are good. A nice mix of distinct but simple.

Charming and highly nuanced. This work of fiction has an adorable heroine and the supporting characters are equally engaging. I look forward to finishing the manga and the novels. Hopefully it will be adapted into an anime also. Once again, this is a work of fiction, so if you're a "tourist" who has trouble consistently distinguishing fiction from reality, you may want to read works from the non-fiction genre, like your national tax codes.
