Kobie Randolph (aka the World Famous DJ K-Luv) is undeniably a man of many talents and the modern day Renaissance Man. From owning his own promotional company at age 15 to becoming America’s youngest club owner at age 22, Kobie knew at a young age that he deserved to have a seat at the table with the entertainment industry’s elite. Kobie has moved with the most influential people in the nation and has shook hands with the most renowned celebrities to date.

Raised in Memphis, TN, Kobie knew that his possibilities were endless and he attributes this mindset to his parents, Bruce and Mildred Randolph, who encouraged Kobie to let his imagination roam through reading books. An avid reader, Kobie was able to think of things unimaginable, which in turn allowed him to execute his visions.

While studying at Tennessee State University, Kobie executed his vision of building an event-marketing empire through his promotional company, First Klass Entertainment as he implemented a monopoly on the school’s party scene. At TSU, Kobie’s alter ego, the World Famous DJ K-Luv was unleashed after the success of his hit late night radio show, K-Luv’ s Ya Ya Suite at the school’s radio station. Kobie also made his mark on campus by implementing the first student award show at TSU, the Black Diamond Awards, a highly anticipated event during TSU’s homecoming.

Armed with the knowledge and tools obtained through his success at TSU, Kobie opened his very own night club, Rain Ultra Lounge in Nashville, TN at the young age of 22. The club quickly became a star-studded phenomenon as celebrities appeared weekly through the relationships Kobie established on the red carpet over the years. At age 24, Kobie wrote a memoir of his experiences on breaking into the entertainment industry entitled, The Champagne Life and began a grassroots’ movement to promoting the book which will release during the summer of 2011.

Through persistence, drive and ambition, Kobie has been fortunate to have networked with the most powerful people in the nation and has been given opportunities that has allowed him to become the intermediary between his peers and the entertainment industry. He strongly believes that his perception of himself has given him the ability to receive endless opportunities. He encourages anyone who desires success to have a strong perception of themselves. He stresses his personal philosophy, “The perception you have of yourself is the world’s reality. Don’t wait on the world to anoint you with a title. You have the power to be who you want to be and do things unimaginable.”
