A child shifted from one foster home to another, she had a gift, and others as well as herself could not explain or control it. She was shunned, ridicule even by the police. Till a detective was brought in to get a handle on the woman being killed in that area, and to find if it was it a serial killer. She had to go to the police her dreams told her of things that may help the investigation, especially the ring. The ring information brought Brandt into Sam’s life. As well as her past and danger. A chance of falling asleep, he saw what she went through. He got in touch with a friend another psychic that could help her, she needed to control her life. The parts with her and her dreams. were too much and graphic Otherwise it was interesting of Sam opening up her life to love and other people.

I've even reread some while waiting for her next book to become available !! This amazing author takes you into a world of mental abilities and skills that will leave you astonished and reading well past bedtime.
