About this ebook

There’s more than one kind of monster.

When Chase first sees the little girl in umbrella socks disemboweling the Rottweiler, he's not too concerned. As a longtime meth addict, he’s no stranger to such horrifying, drug-fueled hallucinations.

But as he and his fellow junkies soon discover, the little girl is no illusion. The end of the world really has arrived. And with Chase’s life already shattered by addiction, the apocalypse might actually be an opportunity—a last chance to hit restart, win back the love of his life, and become the person he once dreamed of being. That is, if the darkness inside him doesn't destroy everything—again.

The author manages to weave two seemingly unrelated subjects into one great story. The subtle comparisons between drug addicts and zombies demonstrated a mind blowing insightfulness that leaves the reader always wanting more. Highly recommend this book to anyone whose ever struggled with addiction or who just loves the rush of a good story

This book has no words. Read it and then had to buy a gard copy one of the greatest books of all time. Every paragraph feels like a hit and you feel, everything chase, kk, and type feel. I laughed, freaked out, cried. The whole spectrum of emotions, from one novel.

Picked this up on a whim because I love the zombie genre and it looked like an interesting premise. Was not disappointed! This is a refreshing take on the zombie/apocalypse/survival genre that had me reading every chance I got. One of the first authors that I sought out on Twitter specifically to give him props. If you like the genre, and if you like a writing style similar in tone to Chuck Palahniuk (Fight Club, etc.) then this is the book for you!
