“You will be hooked! Not since Sidney Sheldon has a male author captured a woman’s perspective so well. it has it all — intrigue, love and realism.” – Kathleen Bursaw “bookster”

“Good book for those who like a little mystery, a little intrigue, a little romance and an average person as a heroine. I couldn’t put this book down. The tone was light and easy going, story well written and easy to follow. Counterfeiting details seem to be well researched, without being boring and technical.” – Christine, at Goodreads

“A fun filled rollercoaster Love, revenge, danger, and pride propel the reader through this excellent novel. The protagonist, Elaine, grows throughout this entire story and at each stage the reader can relate to what she experiences. Fantastic read!” – Theresa Fitzgerald, Book Reviewer

From the prologue itself, the story will keep you hooked. Every chapter's end is a shocking revelation mixed with a feeling of loss and hope simultaneously. The story races forward in a similar manner, like you are reading a Sidney Sheldon crime thriller. The plot of the novel soon moves to the backstory of a cop in a secret service. A girl with a mission to get justice for the suicide of her father was just about to begin an emotional and physical tumult. The training to become a secret service agent is exciting to read. Every lesson is a life-threatening challenge. In doing so, the author lets the audience clearly know the strengths and weaknesses of Elaine. The detailed description also prepares the reader for how the character flaws will impact Elaine in the coming chapters. As the real work of a secret service agent starts, Elaine meets many a****oles, as her instructor Luna has said. The shock of losing the real purpose of becoming a secret service agent is quickly revealed, as if the author were in a hurry to give closure to Elaine's past. As the story progresses from one city to another, different characters are introduced with varying personalities. The transition is a test of the protagonist's skill as she gains experience as a secret service agent. The introduction of the handsome and desirable "hero" is obvious and a relief from the sexual abuser Elaine finds at her earlier workplace. The author does a clever job of indulging the reader in romantic fantasies between Elaine and Nick. The unobvious shocking news is again revealed at the end of another chapter. The novel is so intriguing and interesting that you will never know when it's coming to an end if you don't check the page numbers. I finished reading this book in one sitting in 2 hours. It's entertaining, fast-paced, and engaging thriller novel that is definitely 'unputdownable'.

I was hooked from the beginning! The plot involves you in a seemingly neutral way. Characters feel like they could walk right out of the words. The setting makes you want to find it for a vacation. I advise you to read it now and avoid a boring day. You won't regret it!
