She lives with her husband in St. Andrews, Scotland, and Hatfield, Massachusetts.
Jason Stemple is a free-lance photographer. He provided the photographs for a number of children's poetry books for young readers written by his mother, Jane Yolen. He lives with his wife and their twin daughters in Charleston, South Carolina.
