I totally enjoyed reading His Best Friend's Sister by Eve Gaddy, book three in her Devil’s Rock at Whiskey River series. Billionaire inventor Levi Chapman prefers his small town Texas hometown and old friends to big city life. A job remodeling Devil’s Rock airport brings the only woman who ever touched Levi’s heart, architect Dana DeLong. Dana leaves her life in the big city to work on this project. When Levi's Green Beret brother is injured in combat, Levi’s need to take care of him forces him to turn to Dana. Dana’s specialty is designing accessible housing and she can’t refuse to help his disabled veteran brother. Although Levi and Dana agreed to remain apart, passion continues to glow strongly between them, encouraging them to give in to their desires. As these two work together they learn so much more about each other, information that might have saved their earlier relationship. With all of these changes in their lives, hopefully they can find the answers to save their relationship. Ms. Gaddy wrote a wonderful and moving story that is not to be missed. This story is filled with sexual chemistry, fun dialogue, and endearing characters. I highly recommend this book to other readers. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I truly loved this story! It's a pretty typical second chance romance but the characters really brought the story to life. Levi and Dana definitely have chemistry but they can't seem to make life outside the bedroom mesh. Avoiding her hasn't seemed to help Levi get over her and now he needs to ask her for her help. That means spending time with her and trying to avoid temptation. For his brother Asher he'll just have to suck it up and deal! Levi and Dana are both great characters and I wanted them to find their way. Now I need Asher's story! He definitely deserves some happy. I recommend this one.

I have been waiting so long to find out the score between Levi and Dana. After reading books 1& 2 in the Whiskey River series and knowing that Levi and run scared away it seems from Dana in the past, one could only assume something big must have happened between them. This book did not disappoint me in the least. In fact i liked it so much I read it twice. once as an ARC and once after I went back and re-read the other books in the series. I loved the fact that author Eve Gaddy told us about Asher, Levi's brother who was injured fighting in the war and that brought back Dana into his life help redesign Levi's home. Now you know things would not be all sunshine and roses so buckle up and get ready for a wonderful ride. This book fabulous and anytime an author showcases one of our men or women in the military I salute them!
