About this ebook

Love or Music… Which should they choose and what price do they have to pay?

Love will give Kit and Tully a future together, but music can make Tully's dream come true.

When new guy, Tully, falls for sixteen-year-old Kit, he needs to find a way to win her over. Because, right now, she only has eyes for scorching hot lead-singer, Mac Whitehead, who's turning every head in town.

Neither believe a half-forgotten legend is true, but once a sleeping Celtic god awakes, it's too late to turn back, too late to refuse his offer…

Love or Music… Which will it be?

Breakfast Club vibes, 1990s Ireland, Normal People banter!

What Early Readers Say…

This is the first book I’ve read from this author and it was amazing I absolutely fell in love with Kit and Tully. The spice is sooo damn delish. The angst is top notch. Will continue to follow this series. (NetGalley)

This story has pining love, rockstar life, class differentials and poverty struggles as well as ancient Celtic folklore to give it an unseen twist. It’s a short book with variety of you need something to binge in a day. (Goodreads)

Tully is a really good character and I liked that this novel was from his POV - it’s not often that books are in a male MC POV! (Goodreads)

A couple of things that I really loved about this book-

a) It’s from a male POV (haven’t come across many yet)

b) It’s set in the 90s so the nostalgia is wonderful (life before cellphones)

c) Tully’s character is PERFECT (I now have another fictional man added to my list ) (Goodreads)

I loved the setting in the 90's with the video store and life before smartphones and social media. I can't wait to read the next book in the series and to know the new chapter in Kit's and Tully's relationship. (Goodreads)

Such a mysterious, fun, and interesting read! I really liked the 1990s small town Irish setting. Getting to know the characters was so much fun! The author has done great work creating characters that feel three dimensional & like real people all within a story that is under 200 pages. I liked the speed of the plot & the author's writing style. This is a story about friendship, love, conflict, music, & Celtic mythology. I highly recommend reading this book!

About the author

Mocha Von Bee is the author of the Kit & Tully series. She writes about coming of age with characters her readers can’t help rooting for even when they expect the worst—like Tully, the new guy in town who’s always there for Kit, who has eyes only for bad boy wannabe rock star, Mac Whitehead. The story is inspired by where Mocha grew up in Ireland, not far from the home of Aonghus, a Celtic god of love and music who’s said to have lived deep inside an ancient passage grave.

Mocha loves bookshops, especially those that serve coffee and cinnamon buns, and dreams of living in Paris and taking trains across Europe.
