The minister of my witch clan is determined to either force my loyalty or make my family suffer for my defiance. Each homicide calls to my necromancy, begging me to unleash it and prevent further deaths. Ironic, that. Meanwhile, I’m running around putting out fires all over town.

Yes, literal fires. Someone is torching people in the magical community, leaving a trail of charred victims in their wake.

It would be great to catch this arsonist-murderer before the body count goes through the roof, but at this point, I’ll be lucky if half of Nashville is left standing by the time we can save enough evidence to identify the killer.

I’m finding it harder to justify playing by the rules, even though it’s my rulebook. But using my forbidden powers to solve this case may send my whole life up in flames.
