If you love tortured heroes, strong heroines, gorgeous family dynamics, no stupid drama, and sexy swoon-filled love stories, you have to read this book!"--Aestas Book Blog on Elliott Redeemed

From the queen of heart-pounding, sexy, emotional romance Scarlett Cole comes Elliott Redeemed, the next novel in the Preload series.

Elliott “Pyro” Dawson burns up the lead guitar like a legend. But the nickname Pyro isn’t just a clever play on words. It’s much darker. A past he's fought like hell to overcome.

Grocery store cashier Kendalee Walker is at her wits end and homeless. She's watched her fourteen-year-old son, Daniel, go so far off the rails, he can no longer see the tracks.

When the two are brought together, attraction flares, but the life of a badass rockstar couldn’t be more different than that of a struggling mom. Can Elliott find the family he never had with the sexy woman and her son, or will he fall back on dangerous habits?

Continuing her emotion-packed and oh-so-sexy Preload series, Cole brings another absolute knock-out with Elliott Redeemed. It kept my heart tied up in knots from the beginning and didn’t let me go even after the last page. I’m going to start with my only complaint about this series. I just don’t get enough of the band together! That is one of the things that is so special about this group of guys – how they bonded as kids in a foster home and have been there through ups & downs ever since. I get that these stories are their chance to create their own individual lives and find a HEA, plus I had a similar issue with Jordan Reclaimed so I guess it shouldn’t be a big surprise, and it is FANTASTIC to get to see these guys more in depth … but I just really want to see that connection continue. Elliott has a lot of scars he’s carrying around from his childhood – both physical and mental. He’s managed to find a way to subsist but he’s still not thriving. Meeting a young burn victim and finding out everything that has happened to the boy brings all of his own personal demons to the front, forcing him to face it or be swept up. His growing feelings for the boy’s mom only complicates things even more. Kendalee is carrying a lot of weight at the moment. Her husband left her for another woman and she’s pretty much dealing with her son’s troubles all on her own. Meeting a sexy man, a surprise visit for Daniel while he’s in the hospital, is just one more thing she may not be up for … especially when she sees what a great heart Elliott has and how much he’s helping her son. It amazes me how Cole can manage to pack so much into her stories every time but never brings the drama or shorts her characters. They are always complex, touching, and over before I’m ready to be done. Sexy, emotional, and funny when it needs to be, Elliott Redeemed is a must read! *** I voluntarily read a Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***

I am sooooo loving this series! These characters are raw, flawed, and so damn lovable. Elliott like the other members of Preload has demons from his past he fights everyday. He earned his nickname Pyro honestly but he's got things under control. Or so he thinks. When he meets a young boy that reminds him of himself he questions whether he's as together as he thinks he is. The boys mother, Kendalee, makes him want to be a better man. For her and for her son so he needs to start working on himself. This story is their journey and it's fantastic! Put this one on the must read list!

***5 ‘Rough and Smooth’ Stars*** That’s exactly what Elliott Redeemed was, rough and smooth, sweet and smexy and heart breaking while making my heart all kinds of wonky and twitterpated. It had it all and then some. From page one I was totally immersed into the story, and even when I had to take a moment to process all that was going on, I couldn’t wait to dive back in and see how everything worked out for Elliott, Kendalee and Daniel and in the end, it was all worth it. It’s no secret that I’ve loved all of Scarlett Cole’s men, but Elliott has just shot his way past all of them. Even with all of the demons that plague, and believe me he’s got a lot to battle, his heart is absolutely golden. He’s got an interesting alpha AF thing going on, but it’s a little different than the norm and totally works in his favor. I totally admired Kendalee. This woman is strength, determination and heart personified. Most people would break under the weight that she is carrying, and it isn’t that she isn’t bending and twisting all over the place, because she is, but she refuses to give up and it’s all because of her son. He may be in a bad place, but she refuses to give up on him. And then there is Daniel, Kendalee’s son. My heart broke for him. All that he’s dealing with and attempting to come to terms with is nothing a child his age should, but to watch as he took the steps to work through it all was amazing. Kendalee and Elliott’s journey was a bumpy one, especially with all that they were dealing with, but it was a worthwhile one. They helped each other figure out just want they wanted and who they wanted to be for themselves, each other and even for Daniel, who plays a huge role in their relationship and how it’s evolution. It was sweet, smexy and though there was drama, it was low on the angsty scale which I liked considering all that going on already. The big bump in the road wasn’t a surprise, but I loved what came out of it and where they were at the end of the book. This one was an emotional roller coaster of a ride from page one, and I will say here that some will have issues with the subject matter that is dealt with throughout the book, but I think that Ms. Cole presented it all in a respectful and non-gratuitous manner. But the serious is well balanced out with humor and heart and this may just be my favorite of Ms. Cole’s...so far anyway. We do get to spend time with the Preload guys and their women, which was fun to get a little deeper insight into their relationships with each other. Nikan and Lennon are the last men standing and though Nikan’s is next, I’m not sure whose book I’m looking forward to more. The set up for Nikan’s has me wanting the book, like yesterday, but Lennon is the one stuck in my head. Regardless, I’m making mental grabby hands for their books and can’t wait to see what’s in store for them. ~ Copy provided by the publisher & voluntarily reviewed ~
