About this ebook

Love is on the menu in this sweet romantic comedy set in Italy.

Ginny's Italian cooking course was supposed to be a peaceful escape from her troubles. But when she meets Preston, an infuriating know-it-all history professor, she quickly realizes her past has come back to haunt her.

The last thing Ginny needs is for Preston to find out who she really is. Her plan seems foolproof—assume a fake identity and keep her distance from the pretentious jerk.

But when they’re forced to work together, Ginny starts to see a different side of Preston. She’s torn between her desire to reveal who she really is and her fear that she’ll lose everything in the process.

Will Ginny be able to trust Preston with her heart, or will love turn out to be the ultimate recipe for disaster?

If you like quirky characters, happily ever afters, and the occasional drooling cat, you’ll love Ginny and Preston’s story.

First the disclaimer. I was given an ARC version of this book. I would have bought it anyways after having read Ellen Jacobson's cozy mystery series expecting more of Jacobson's cleverness and laughs. My expectations were exceded. The book was fun, witty, full of amusing surprises, and old fashion romance with PG kisses that occasionally get just a little bit steamy. And besides all that there is food and travel. I'm ready to hop on a plane to Italy right now. I can smell that ravioli simmering!

Smitten with Ravioli is the first book in the Smitten with Travel Romantic Comedy Series and is a fantastic start to this new series. This author has brought her fun and humourous writing from her cozy mysteries to this new sweet romance series. This is a delight to read and I am looking forward to reading more books in this series. The characters are well developed, interesting, and likable. The storyline is well crafted and grabbed my attention from the start and kept it until the end, with humour, sarcasm, a secret, personal issues, Italian food, and a sweet romance. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
