The writing wasn't very evocative... I couldn't even imagine what the characters looked like without searching for some illustrations on google! The hero was too powerful and dull, and didn't seem to care about anyone or anything in particular. In the end, I was surprised by some of his decisions because he just seemed to take up the cause for no reason at all.

Like the Mars trilogy, but without the nostalgic charm. It's totally worthless. Writing without charm, heavily chauvinistic, totally inexplicable political dynamics, silly super hero main character...
