Cute little story about a little mermaid who insists she's fearless. Her parents warn her of the dangers and she insists she's not afraid until she finds out that she is. Cute book to teach kids to be a little more aware while at the same time being a fun story. We also used it as a change to explain to our daughter some underwater creatures she didn't know while asking her to point out the things Mellie was passing by. She loved the book so much we had to reread it multiple times. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
