About this ebook

"Boring? Tiresome? Predictable? We’ll see about that!”

When Trish's husband of almost 30 years announces that he's leaving her because she's "boring," she sets out to find an adventure. Her attempt to drink the heartbreak of her divorce away drops her onto a handsome gentleman who invites her to have an adventure, and Trish can't help but say yes.

He’s mysterious, aloof, and he’s got a secret.

She embarks on that journey, submissive training, at the hands of Dave, her mentor, but her path keeps crossing with that of another - Clint Winstead, a Dominant at the BDSM club, Bliss, and the one person in the place who seems to despise her. That's fine with Trish. After all, there are plenty of other Doms there who want to play, and besides, the obvious age difference between her and Clint would make her feel like a cougar, not at all how she sees herself. The lifestyle appeals to her, and what seems odd and scary to her initially turns into fun with the possibility that she’ll find love as she forges relationships with the other members of the club.

But when an annual event at Bliss throws Trish and Clint together for two weeks, both of them are horrified, not by the pairing, but by the feelings they're trying hard to deny. As the time passes, it's harder and harder to deny what they know is true - that is, until one nearly-tragic incident that almost changes both their lives irreparably. And when Trish realizes that continuing on with her commitment could cost her the ultimate - her life - she knows that it has to end. Doesn’t it?

Trish is the queen of second chances, but things are just too scary. Problem is, if she leaves, she’ll never learn his secret.

Or know his heart.

Join the crew at Bliss, the best BDSM club in the region, and get to know the Doms and subs who play there as they learn about bondage, discipline, punishment, and commitment. There’s fun, blistering-hot sex, and maybe even love! With Trish and Clint’s May/December romance, Adventurous Me starts the series with a bang – literally – and it just gets better from there!

WARNING: This book contains explicit sexual situations and BDSM themes. It is not suitable for readers under the age of 18. Reader discretion is advised.

This book was great. Had me crying at times. I even laughed at points. Well written. Took less then a week to read. Wish she has more books like this. Got to thinking about the part of her punishment for going into the office. As a nurse's assistant you learn things as you go. The thing that comes to my mind is an allergic reaction to the gag. Think about it.

About the author

Deanndra Hall lives in far western Kentucky with her partner of 30+ years and three crazy little dogs. She spent years writing advertising copy, marketing materials, educational texts, and business correspondence, and designing business forms and doing graphics design. After reading a very popular erotic romance book, her partner said, “You can write better than this!” She decided to try her hand at a novel. In the process, she fell in love with her funny, smart, loving, sexy characters and the things they got into, and the novel became the Love Under Construction series.

Deanndra enjoys all kinds of music, kayaking, working out at the local gym, reading, and spending time with friends and family, as well as working in the fiber and textile arts. And chocolate’s always high on her list of favorite things!
