About the author

Franz Hlawatsch is an Associate Professor at the Vienna University of Technology, Austria. His research interests are in the areas of time-frequency signal processing, non-stationary statistical signal processing and wireless communications.

Francois Auger is Head of the Physical Measurements Department of the Technology Institute of the University of Saint Nazaire, France. His current research interests include motor control, embedded control and signal processing with FPGAs, spectral estimation and time-frequency representations.
